CURRENTLY HIRING:

STREET TEAM – FIELD REP LEAD – FULL-TIME

Hourly Pay Rate: Starting at $17/hour

Hours Per Week: 30-40

Job Summary:  

The Field Rep Lead position is a good fit for the self-motivated and outgoing individual who likes to work in a fast-paced environment, often outdoors, and interact with people and the community at large. As part of the YBR Street Team, you will be predominantly out of office and in the field attending events, colleges, retail locations and high-traffic areas to distribute promotional materials like flyers, posters, and branded items, often working for local and international businesses and spreading the word about their events, products, and/or services. These projects may be conducted individually or in teams. This is a fun but demanding position that often has perks such as attending festivals or other entertainment events. This position often involves off-site transportation, so having a vehicle available for consistent use is necessary. 

This position requires availability for 3-4 shifts on weekdays during business hours and 2-3 evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities & Duties: 

  • Distribution of marketing materials to retail locations throughout the Bay Area 
  • Hand-to-hand distribution of marketing materials at colleges, entertainment venues, and public spaces.
  • Provide photo and written documentation of conducted field marketing projects
  • Field Analysis 
  • Ensuring that the field reps are properly trained, dressed appropriately, understand the materials they are handing out, and know who the clients are that they are representing at various events
  • Liaising between field reps, Operations Manager, and clients (when necessary)
  • Ensuring project documentation from field reps is completed and turned in for management review and client reporting
  • Instilling enthusiasm within the field reps around our company culture, our clients, and the campaigns they are working on
  • Reporting to Operations Manager
  • Assisting Operations Manager & Sales Manager with any relevant tasks 
  • Being available for on-call support when needed for projects and client requests 
  • Responsible for management of night and weekend shifts, determined on a rotating schedule with another Field Rep Lead

STREET TEAM – FIELD REP – PART-TIME

Hourly Pay Rate: Starting at $17/hour

Hours Per Week: 5-20

Job Summary:

As part of the YBR Street Team, you will be predominantly out of office and in the field attending events, colleges, retail locations and high-traffic areas to distribute promotional materials like flyers, posters, and branded items, often working for local and international businesses and spreading the word about their events, products, and/or services. These projects may be conducted individually or in teams. This is a fun but demanding position that often has perks such as attending festivals or other entertainment events. This position often involves off-site transportation, so having a vehicle available for consistent use is preferred. 

This position may require a mixed availability for 1-4 shifts on weekdays during business hours, weekday evenings, and weekend shifts. Hiring for part-time staff is subject to current scheduling needs.

BRAND AMBASSADORS – PART-TIME

Hourly Pay Rate: Starting at $20/hour

Hours Per Week: As needed. 1-5 days/month on average.

Job Summary: 

As a Brand Ambassador, you will serve as the face and voice of our client’s company, build brand recognition, and successfully promote their products and services. You will communicate and engage with customers in meaningful ways to increase our client’s brand awareness and generate new conversions and/or sales opportunities. It’s typical to put on a branded shirt and demo a product or distribute free samples and swag to people at high traffic areas such as music festivals, large events, trade shows, and shopping areas.

Other jobs may involve guerilla sampling, setting up an event, flyering, dancing in a flash mob, greeting people at the door, being dunked in a tank, overseeing games and activities, and so much more! Due to the nature of the work, Brand Ambassadors must be friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic about the brand they are representing as their main goal is to leave consumers with a fun and memorable experience about the brand.

Responsibilities & Duties: 

  • Provide photo documentation, client feedback, and final reports from all activations
  • Distribute print, swag, and samples to the public at events, conferences, festivals, etc
  • Set up and/or breakdown of activation sites, booths, and tables
  • Adhere to a dress code, wear branded clothing, or dress in full costume

SALES & MARKETING INTERNSHIP

Background: Intermediate experience in sales or marketing preferred. Must be a full-time college student with enough available credits to take on the internship.

Responsibilities: Work closely with the Sales/Accounts Manager to assist with all elements of the sales process from market research, data entry, and contact sourcing to initial sales outreach and follow-ups. Pitch and help manage creative ideas for new client campaigns involving physical and digital promotion.

Daily Tasks:

  • Conduct sales and market research to determine potential clients and opportunity markets
  • Complete sales prospecting to determine the best sales contacts for each client
  • Log client info into company spreadsheets
  • Conduct basic outreach for clients
  • Participate and assist Sales/Accounts Manager with sales negotiations
  • Develop creative marketing campaigns for clients utilizing our varied promotional streams
  • Complete campaign follow-ups with clients
  • Assist with scheduling meetings for Sales/Accounts Manager  
  • Organize the execution of street team and digital marketing projects for each account

Goals:   

  • Gain proficiency in market research methods
  • Gain a deep understanding of the SF Bay Area events market and who the major players involved are
  • Learn sales prospecting and outreach methods and strategies
  • Learn basic sales negotiation skills
  • Implement creative marketing strategies for local and national clients

SOCIAL MEDIA & GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERNSHIP

Background: Experience in both basic graphic design and social media management preferred. Must have basic skills in programs like Word and Excel, and a basic understanding of social media. Graphic design (Photoshop/In-design) &/or HTML experience a plus. Must be a full-time college student with enough available credits to take on the internship.

Responsibilities: Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to fulfill both long-term organic brand social media strategies and short-term paid digital marketing campaigns. Designing and formatting media needed for social media, web design, physical promotions, or newsletters.

Daily Tasks:

  • Write original copy in the style of each of our brands that’s formatted correctly for each platform
  • Develop and implement audience/follower building practices to grow our audience across all brands and platforms
  • Develop and implement reach/engagement building practices to grow our reach and develop a greater level of organic engagement across our brands and platforms
  • Develop strategic partnerships with other brands and utilize them to advance our company social media strategy
  • Conduct target market and audience assessments to determine our current audience and other areas in which we can expand
  • Work within a digital marketing campaign structure to create targeted and strategic ads
  • Create or modify graphics for social media, newsletters, web, or physical placements
  • Light web design assistance, making small web edits
  • Work with clients to produce Ticket Giveaways as a way to incentivize email and SMS sign-ups for our newsletters
  • Create assets for internal giveaways, announcements, and events
  • Develop unique brand campaigns for our internal brands
  • Find local artists to partner with on flyer design to create unique assets for our brands
  • Work with photographers and photojournalists to create unique content for our social media channels
  • Work with clients, venues, and partners to secure clearance / authorization to use copy-written content on our channels

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY INTERNSHIP

Background: Experience in both photography and videography with access to your own equipment is required. No equipment will be provided. Must be a full-time college student with enough available credits to take on the internship.

Responsibilities: Two primary roles: taking photos and videos at selected events (primarily music) and writing recaps for our social media and company newsletters. Can also be combined with social media/graphic design internship, depending on interest and skill set.

Daily Tasks:

  • Capturing content at selected live events, mostly music. Can be in the form of artist interviews, live shots, and various event shots
  • Capturing our street team and brand ambassadors in the field
  • Processing media and editing it to match the brand it will be representing
  • Coordinating social media usage of the media with the Digital Marketing Manager and team
  • Writing weekly/bi-weekly articles to be paired with original photos for use in our newsletters, LinkedIn articles, or other placements
  • Writing and editing press releases

Goals:

  • Gain experience as a photographer across a variety of settings and event types
  • Develop an eye for shots that will appeal to certain niche demographics
  • Learn how to pair visual content with written content in an effective way
  • Develop the ability to write a variety of article types, including:
    • Interviews
    • Event Recaps
    • Events/Marketing Industry Articles
    • Press Releases
